Note: In April 2012, a paper entitled “Impact of Quality Mentorship on Achievements of Shiraz Medical School in the 1970s and the Role of Professor Faramarz Ismail-Beigi” was published in Archives of Iranian Medicine. (Azizi MH, Nasseri-Moghaddam S. Impact of Quality Mentorship on Achievements of Shiraz Medical School in the 1970s and the Role of Professor Faramarz IsmailBeigi. The following papers describe the profound impact of two great medical mentors, Professors Khosrow Nasr and Asghar Rastegar on achievements of Shiraz School of Medicine in the same period.
